Probiotic Implantation

The ability of any probiotic to effectively adhere to your colonic lining is the first step in effective colonization in your colon. If the probiotic is able to adhere in sufficient numbers, only then is it able to begin colonizing in an effort to affect your health.
Even if a probiotic is able to make it past all the hurdles to get to this point, without effective adhesion and colonization, the journey was for nothing. Here is where virtually all products and strains claiming to be probiotics fail dismally. Any probiotic is considered to be “good” if it boasts a mere 5 percent adhesion and colonization rate. This means that if only 5 in 100 of the probiotic cells that manage to make it through to your colon actually do anything, it is considered good. You may be taking a dose claiming to have 100 billion live cells at time of manufacture, but are actually lucky if your colon sees even 1 cell survive to do anything! 100 billion to 1, not great odds.

Virtually all probiotics, including Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bifidum, are poor implementators and activators. Almost all viable cells end up passing right through you, without stopping long enough to produce any appreciable health benefits. Studies show these probiotics are able to implant and activate as little as 20% of their cells. The remaining 80% are destroyed or eliminated without providing benefits.

The length of colonization is another determinant of how effective any probiotic is. This is a measure of how long the probiotic remains adhered to your colon lining performing its job. The longer the length of colonization, the more active and effective the probiotic is. Probiotics are notorious for having a short length of colonization, usually measured in hours. What this means is that a few hours after you have taken the probiotic, it is no longer active and is eliminated from your system, providing no more benefit.

Fiberrific +probiotic excels at implantation and colonization. It has an implantation rate that exceeds 90%. So over 90% of ingested probiotic cells are able to implant themselves to the colon wall. In terms of colonization, Fiberrific +probiotic is the only choice. Where other probiotics are able to colonize for hours, usually no more than 12,  Fiberrific +probiotic is able to colonize for 7 days. When you take a dose of “regular probiotics” you are starting from a low colonization point as the previous dose has already left your system. With  Fiberrific +probiotic each dose builds on the success and benefits of all the doses from the previous 7 days.

Fiberrific +probiotic is the best choice for probiotic supplementation. It is vegan, taste-free, highly soluble, clinically proven safe and effective with over 50 years of clinical use. A portion of its effectiveness is due to its exceptionally high implantation and colonization rate, which cannot be matched by any other probiotic. Choose the most effective probiotic, Fiberrific +probiotic.
